Our children hold the keys to a future that we can only begin to imagine and yet we are their teachers. So, in an uncertain and fast changing world, how can we equip our children and our young people to live their lives as a creative adventure?

The time is now here to explore new ways of learning, teaching and creating. ecl is an innovative approach for schools and families to meet this vital challenge. It is both an inquiry and a resource, inviting dedicated and progressive parents, teachers and leaders all over the world to rethink education from a more holistic perspective.

This website offers you an initial taste of ecl and its 'whole child, whole system' approach. It provides glimpses of the many resources and learning tools that have been developed. It also introduces the online ecl QUEST offered through the ecl website, designed to help you, as a either a parent or professional, to enhance the emotional well-being, creativity and learning of your children and young people.

If you want to go further, you can also join a growing Community of Practice and Innovation. This community is supported both online and by the ecl hub now operational in South Africa. The ecl South Africa hub offers a portfolio of developmental services to parents and educational professionals in their particular area.
