Day 2
Another rich and dynamic day full of beautiful experiences and new learning.
today we did not meet to share our experiences during our lunch break as we all felt it was too much and we needed a break to process our intake of information and rest for the afternoon. So I only have my and Helen's experience to share with you today and I hope that others will bring in some info which i can add tomorrow.
The morning lecture was fun and full of interesting stories. Hunter loves to make jokes and brings in various stories to explain his thinking and to help us grasp his concepts for the week. Today he spoke about the creation of the Universe and the ultimate creation of the human being on this little planet. He emphasized the point that although we are all made up of the same thing (atoms) we are still all very different. A snake is a snake and will always be a snake even if it only eats mice for dinner. ;-) this was one of his examples.
He continued his talk about the meaning of the Soul and gave some new insights.
- The Soul live in the range between Body and Mind. This is the place where we experience Love and Hate
- Every small turning away has enormous consequences for the Soul
- Blocking off a child's inquiry does not allow the child to test their feelings in their field of experience
- At the level of the Soul we are both 'Perfect' and 'Imperfect'
Hunter also made some interesting comments about Love and how love shows itself through the soul:
- The instinctive connection of birds to rear their young
- When a child is wounded the parent feels the pain
Another interesting comment was the reason a childhood in human being is so long....i.e 18 years.
- The purpose of a long childhood is to give time to transfer culture and information to allow the child time to connect with resonance and this resonance has survival value.
Morning Session
In the morning session I sat in a group that was facilitated by Gunthard Weber. The theme was "How can a facilitator influence the Constellation?
There was no direct teaching about this topic or any clear explanations to say this is wrong or that is wrong. What he shared was a couple of stories and a demonstration. Some basic points which did come out were:
- How the facilitator sees the world is how he/she will see the constellation
- Always have 2 or 3 hypothesis (a metaphor for this is below)
- Every facilitator has their favourite interventions (including himself)
- A facilitator should always take an observer stance
Gunthard also gave a metaphor for the hypothesis which has said came up during the morning discussion of all the faculty around this topic. This was:
Allow the hypothesis to circulate around your head but do not allow it to make a next in your hair....
....then he said Jakob added
....but if the hypothesis does make a nest in your hair, don't let the koo koo bird lay its eggs there.
A bog question Gunthard said all facilitators need to ask themselves is:
Is my hypothesis solution orientated or resources orientated?
Afternoon Session
The afternoon session was facilitated by Albrecht Mahr
The main learning from the session was that their are 4 group in which a Family Constellation happens:
1) The actual Constellation - Albrecht called this The Knowing Field
2) The Holding Circle
3) Those that are not there
4) The Room, the space, the surrounding area and field.
A small stepping out ritual which he also introduced to get the representatives out of the role was:
- The client stands infront of the representative arms length away, holds them firmly by the hand and says, 'Thank you for representing NAME'. And then both step back and out.
So that was day two. I know this is all short but I hope in some way interesting and maybe also an opportunity to tune into us here and feel our learning and take it all in through the field.
Much love and tune in tomorrow for more.

Something inside me is not quite the same. I do feel different, more at peace and more calm. I also seem to be more accepting of myself. - Workshop Participant
